question for gaining weight after surgery

Hi there, i just got out of the hospital for a double resection caused by fistulas. i lost about 35lbs then another 15 in hospital. what or when can i turn this weight loss around? thanks.

 i really cant eat alot since they could not do my procedure lapro, they had to it the old fashioned way

i guess i am kind of anxious, since i am still losing a bit of weight and it been 3 days after i started eating real food, not clear foods like in the hospital,

did you loss a little more weight after the surgery for a while?

I had a kidney surgery this past July and I still have not be able to put the 15 lbs I lost from that surgery back on either. I think some of the suggestions of adding in Ensure or Boost type drinks might be a good idea. I am going to start adding those in myself. Hubby doesn't like me this skinny:)

Had 2 open resections myself, hope this leads to a long remission for you. Whatever you do, be sure you get back on maintenance meds. Wouldn't want you to have a repeat of what you just went thru.
