What symptoms does Canasa suppositories treat?
How soon would one see any improvement?
How often should one take 1000mg suppositories?
Many thanks.

Canasa is prescribed for inflammation in the rectum. You might have this if you are passing mucous with your stool, or bright red blood on your stool, have urgency issues.
In my experience it takes several days of using Canasa nightly to notice an improvement in these symptoms. I think rectal inflammation is very stubborn and you will probably need to use Canasa nightly for a month or more before being able to reduce frequency (slowly).
