I feel like I've been tired for years, but lately I feel like I am one step away from passing out at all times. Add onto that being lightheaded, cold and achy most of the time and it's been hard to get anything beyond the bare minimum done at work and home. I've in my second week of antibiotics for a sinus infection that has been bugging me for over a month. My GI ordered some more bloodwork this morning to check my iron + CBC and she's checking my Remicade antibodies since it's been a year and I'm really no better off than I was when I started.

Anyway, just needed a quick whine. If anyone knows of magical work fairies that will help me with the growing stack of work piling up, please send them my way. :)

Maybe a multi-vitamin might help? Sometimes it's low iron, vitamin D, etc. and supplements can really help with that.

Hubby takes B-12 shots and it helps with his fatigue.

I was the same way. But after 7 days using a cannabis tincture I had energy and appetite.

My neurologist used to give me B12 shots every time I saw her but I saw no improvement so I stopped them because they cost $30 (they weren't covered by insurance) and my B12 has been fine according to my bloodwork. I had the bloodwork run yesterday along with a full abdominal ultrasound to make sure there aren't any issues with my liver, spleen, kidneys, etc (because of my continued abdominal pain), so I call my GI tomorrow to hear the results.

I just hate feeling like everything is falling apart. It takes everything I have to go teach for three hours or come in for meetings; thank goodness I only teach one day a week.

FYI - if B12 is something you would need again in the future, I found a way to get them for a lot cheaper via Walmart and an online discount card. I outlined it toward the end of this thread:

Depending on how long you were on Pred and Entocort, you might want to see an Endocrinologist to get your adrenal functioning tested. I believe that low cortisol from steroid overuse can cause fatigue.

hey vitaka....I get you! Lately I feel like I could fall asleep just standing there. I actually fell asleep in a Home Depot this weekend while my husband was looking at vanities. It would have been funny if I did it while sleeping on one of the toilet displays!
I do notice a difference in the b12. I was thinking maybe give it a second try if your GI does not offer any other options. I also noticed that being low on D, Potassium and Magnesium could be dragging me down---since the exhaustion has been worse since I experimented with dropping those. Other than that...it just seems to be the flare that is taking me down from the inside. Try to let yourself give in to resting when you can...you will catch up on everything when you can!
