External Hemmie

I use Anusol HC suppositories...it is a steroid suppository that you get by prescription from your doc. It works quickly for me...I usually only have to use them for a few days. Soaking in the tub may also give you some relief. A lot of dark blood and the pain makes me think you need to see if your Crohn's is also active though. When I bleed from hemmies it is bright red blood, not dark.

No, at my worst I was anemic and suffered from electrolyte imbalance..I have not had it checked lately..I have had problems with Vitamin D that has not been cooperating..The bleeding actually started before Thanksgiving that was bright red with clots..I then started having a mixture of constipation with diarrhea..which I normally am not constipated..I have been feeling lumps along with left lower quadrant pain..I am having a problem with frequent UTIs as well..The dark blood started before the hemmie appeared which is about half the size now ..I have had a problem with internal hemmies for years but I have not wanted to have the procedures to correct it..I don't seem to have had this problem in the past without being in a serious flare..My stomach is bothering me now..With the frequent diarrhea today, I had the rushing noises with undigested food and pain along with wanting to vomit at the same time..Long term predisone with diet and occasional antibiotics has kept things tolerable till now..I am not having tenesmus..I am due to start a new job on February 23rd which I can't be away from my desk like I am now??
