Hi :) I just want to update those of you who were helping me. I don't have Crohn's - yay! I was released from the doc who scoped me to a rheumatologist. I had a 8 month wait to even get an appointment. So I put my tail between my legs and just waited for about two months. In that time, my body started to ache. My joints feel sprained. I'm mildly swollen. I've lost a bit more weight. My eyes are so dry that when I wake up, my eye lids are briefly paralyzed - I didn't even know that was possible! My diarrhea has slowed down. I got a massive bruise on most of the underside of my forearm out of no where. Then I got one on my ankle/foot. So at that point I booked an appt with my gp. She was on vacation so I got in with her colleague. He took one look at me and ordered some tests that my doc, the neuro, the neuro surgeon, and the general surgeon never did.
It turns out that I have a raised ANA. I have more tests that I don't know the name of that are out of whack as well. I have been diagnosed with seronegative arthritis bc I don't have the rh factor (I think that's what it's called). Because the inflammation and whatever else is so rampant on my blood work, I have an expedited appointment with the Rheumatologist to check me out for Lupus etc. This colleague thinks that my lump in my stomach is just some sort of tendonitis. I do not have gout or an infection. He says it looks autoimmune.
So I'm in the right direction!
