Is it ok to take vsl #3 AND Florastor? I just took a round of antibiotics for an ear infection, and I started getting thrush which tells me I don't have enough good bacteria. I am taking florastor and took extra doses while on the antibiotics, but was thinking I needed to add another probiotic as well.

I am pretty sure it is okay, since Florastor is yeast based and VSL 3 is bacteria-based. When I take antibiotics, I take 4 Florastor per day. Then once I am done, I taper down 1 per week until I am at 1 per day, and I take that all of the time. So I don't see why throwing in VSL 3 would be a problem. If it hurts your stomach, then you can always stop it.
