I am new to the forum and have a question. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis 2 years ago with a stay in the hospital. Last December was hospitalized again and had an abdominal surgery. For the last couple of weeks I have been experiencing new symptoms and they do not feel like Colitis. I am having just soft stool no diarrhea. But I am going at least 10-15 times a day always accompied by bad cramps,urgency,bloating and almost always after eating. I am also having some fatigue and new onset of joint pain in knee's,feet and hands mostly....Could this be Crohns.

Hi Cyeiser,

You will find the UC forum to be much more active than the Crohn's forum. I check in here because I've had some symptoms that make me wonder if its Crohn's that I have and not UC.

I was wondering why you say those symptoms don't feel like UC? They are pretty standard UC complaints I see on the colitis forum all the time. Joint pain is a common complaint as well, I get it in my hands now. You may try posting this over there, be sure to include a subject.

It sounds like a typical flare to me, whether UC or CD.
