New here and I have a question.....how often can you take questran do you take it right before meals I know it's to be taken an hour after meds but didn't know about meals

You are supposed to take it with meals every time.

Is colestipol and questran basically the same drug? My son's doctor has him take 2 tablets right before bedtime? He said it was to "bind the biles" but did not say anything about it after meals?

They are both different drugs, although they are used to do the same thing. I don't know what the difference is, but you can take them both at the same time and not overdose (as opposed to trying to take tylenol and acetaminophen at the same time, for example).

Thanks - I am going to research more on this because he is only taking the medication at bedtime and not at meals which is maybe something he should be doing. I will add this to my always growing list!!
