When does it stop!?

I didn't see a forum for "Currently Undiagnosed" or "Yet to have Answers", and since Crohn's is the latests in the lost of ideas, I guess I am in as right of a place as I can be. I will check spelling as best as I can, being in a phine and sleep depeived.

But when does it quit? Mt hallmark sign has always been LLQ pain. Just had a CTVV test, and three days ago and the pain with bowel mvements has increased ten fold. It looks like the barium swallow has mostly passed, as what is coming out is normal in color, at least, but it us stull 95% waster, yhe rest being tiny firm rabbit poops. I am nauseated all the time. If I have the urge ti go abd don't make it to the bathroom in tume, and actyallybhave to go(not a false alarm)I have no retal sphincter control, and defacate on myself.

When will it all be "normal" again, or at least, normal as it was?

That's so funny about what you said. I was at my gastro today and they had a chalk board outside the office that said something to the effect of... healing is a path and a journey, not a result that takes day, weeks, months, or even years, or some bs like that. I thought to myself, "way to set the expectations low early".

Steveo68, haha, definitely setting the bar low. I guess thats to head off the "Are we there yet?" type questions.

vislanee- Hang in there, everyone is so different. It takes a while for some to get diagnosed, then its finding the right treatment. Others diagnosis is straight forward. my personal experience: I've had flares, complications, failure of some medications over the last few years but starting remicade spring 2016 has helped. It personally felt like its taken me until now to get to the point where I am heathy enough to look more toward the future and move to the second phase of rebuilding my life that has been upended over the last 8 years with this disease. how ever dealing with chronic illness you always have to be prepared for the unexpected and even now things aren't perfect.
