Help needed - picture attached ! Colour blood ?

Morning everyone ,

So I have had no bleeding for around a week , think due to pred foam / pred supps

Now it's back

Can anyone help me describe this colour of if it's typical of there bleeding ?

I'm mildly colour blind with Red and Brown which doesn't help at all !!!

Lol , I can tell it's blood , just about !

I was looking for help determining how you describe it ? Fresh ? Old ? Black or red ?

Morning to you. I know you have been having some concerns about blood in your stools & posted a pic a couple of days ago in the UC forum. The best thing I can offer up is to call your gi & request a stool test kit. This can be picked up at his office. If getting through to the gi is a problem, then call your PCP & explain the situation. For that matter his nurse can speak to the dr on your behalf. I would think the PCP would do this for you. Once done then you can find out for sure if its blood or not & can put your mind at ease one way or the other.
