I have just started taking Enteregam, mainly for my diarrhea, bloating, etc. I have seen some sporatic posts about this medication. It is rather new. It is considered a food grade prescription. It is from bovine serum. I have been on it for a week now and have seen some slight improvement. They say it takes several weeks to kick in though. It mixes in water and has virtually no taste at all. (I read somewhere where people complained about the taste, but it has no taste so dont let that worry you) Most insurance companies will not cover it and if costs around $500 a month. I went direct through enteregam though where they have a program that uses their own pharmacy where I was able to get it for $158 a month. Still a lot, but if I get any relief it will be worth it.
