Tightness in chest?

I took stelara on the 5 and a week later I got a sore throat with headache and feel like someone is sitting on my chest. Could this be from biologic? I have had no fever. If it was y’all what would you do? How do you figure out what’s causing it? My daughter is getting married in Florida in may and I need to feel well. Please I need advice

Barbs,

Have you called your GI about your symptoms? The chest pressure would be worrisome for me. (Although I take Remicade not Stelera)

All they ever say is it’s not stelara. I’ve tried talking to them about the anxiety and panic issues and they say no it’s not the stelara but it clearly states it on side effects if read in depth.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish I had knowledge or experiences that I could draw from but I don't have any experience with Stelera. It does concern me that it is chest pain and that your doctors are not listening to your concerns. I would probably be seeking a second or third opinion.

I hope someone else will be able to chime in soon.

Barbz, this is strictly a guess on my part. Since your dr wants to say its an anxiety & panic issue, do you have medication for this? If so, have you tried taking your medication to see if it stopped the chest tightness? Again, this is just a thought.
