Has anyone on Humira had to have a tooth extracted? I have to have a back tooth removed and I'm also on Alendronic acid (fosamax) for osteoporosis. The dentist has scared me witless saying that I might get something called osteonecrosis because on Alendronic acid and may take a long time to heal. Bad enough that I have a compromised immune system with Humira. Any advice?

My Daughter had a wisdom tooth out while on Remicade. You have to time the extraction between Humira injections as you'll likely have to be on antibiotics. It's easier with Remicade, as you have a 8 week window, but with weekly injections, they might have to miss one to get you off of any antibiotics.
