Because I have Crohn's Disease with multiple strictures in my small bowel, every time I feel nauseous, I immediately think: Oh, no, small bowel obstruction.
Then, after some research on this forum, I found that may not be the case. Even if I see my GI doctor today, he cannot draw a conclusion that my nausea was caused by partial small bowel obstruction.
Between 2010 and 2017, I had quite several episodes of partial small bowel obstruction based on my own self-diagnosis. Two symptoms were always present during the partial small bowel obstructions: waves after waves of abdominal pain and nausea.
But during the past 2 weeks, I experienced two bad episodes of nausea only, without any obvious abdominal pain. I was also able to pass gas and BM. Like many people here, nausea started in the evening after dinner and made me sleepless for most the nights. But my own research shows that anxiety can also cause nausea for some members of HW community and I was definitely worried lately. What do you think? Thanks
