hi everyone, I have been trying to get a diagnosis for a while now. I have had a colonoscopy, endoscopy and MRE that came back normal other than a few ulcers in my terminal ilium. I have also had a high calprotectin but that returned to normal now. I have bad nausea, I get pain/cramps from around my bellybutton that can also range to the right lower side of my stomach. I am also borderline anemic. I have lost a significant amount of weight too, but slowly gaining it back due to drinking 3 supplement drinks. at one appointment my doctor was like there are concerning signs of crohns that I want to sort out and then at the next appointment she told me there was nothing wrong with me and just told me it was a functional disorder. I am still experiencing all the symptoms as listed above. I don't get diarrhea but I am more on the constipated side of things, but I have a few bowl movements a day with lots of mucus and blood. could I have been misdiagnosed or is the diagnosis of a functional disorder seem right?? I just don't know, please help!! could they have missed it, or even maybe the crohns isn't developed enough to physically see yet??
