Hi everyone.I'm new here and looking for someone who can relate.I have mild crohn's disease since 2009 .This May,i had my worst flare ever and after a month I was diagnosed with
bilateral enthesitis of achilles tendons too.I had many issues with my tendons the last 2 years but never thought this could be something more .I'm on Humira since late August. My crohn's went in remission after the second shot but the heel pain doesn't seem to improve.I've tried everything during these months but nothing works. The thing is that the pain in my left heel is so bad where the most of the days I can barely walk.I have seen many Reumy .More or less ,all of them told me to wait 3-4 months for Humira to kick in.But I thing there should be some progress by now (on Tuesday I'm going to have my fifth shot of 80 mg).So, I'm going to see another Reumy in private the sooner I can get an appointment who has very impressive recommendations .Also,I consider a surgery could be a solution in my case as the pain is getting so severe .Had anyone any luck with the treatment of enthesitis and if so,what was that? Thanks a lot!!!
