new doctors

back in June of this year i had a flare and went to closest ER for treatment,after a week i was released to home,New Gi and Surgeon consult chose chose to treat partial bowel obstruction with solumedrol and TPN.well last week second visit to ER ,same issues.New surgeon is hesitant on surgery as he doesn't know my history.(don't anyone research anymore)they wanted to transport me to previous hospital of surgeries,that hospital was closed due to Covid patients so again i spent a week on steroids,NG tubes and pain meds.Question?Should i just get a copy of all tests and go see old surgeon or have old surgeon run his own testing\?
