I started IBD-AID at the start of this year having switched to stelara in Nov 2020 due to failing remicade, entyvio, steroids and azathioprine and 6mp.
My inflammation levels in April this year were the best they have been since Crohn’s attacked in 2017. Obviously can’t say how much of the heavy lifting is diet vs stelara but I am keeping going with the both to give myself the best chance. I also supplement vitamin D, fish oil and iron.
If you go for it there is a great and supportive Facebook group who post lots of compliant recipes.
Buy or borrow a blender as in phase one there are lots of smoothies and soups.
I have found it pretty doable although I gave up gluten a couple of years ago so that helped in terms of thinking about lunch beyond grabbing a sandwich. I would advise have some compliant nice snacks to hand in the early days to help with wobbly moments and find a live organic yoghurt you like the taste of (Yeo valley Greek yoghurt is nice with a blob of honey). as they are really into probiotics.
Hope it helps and good luck
