Broomhilda, good to see you back but so sorry to hear about the insurance issue. Unfortunately, this is an issue that has been going on for quite a few years with insurance companies. This happens to people that depend on expensive medications all the time.
I do urge you to contact Humira at 1-800-448-6472 & see if you can qualify for patient assistance. A lot of times they will offer compassionate care to patients in your situation. All it takes is a phone call.
Patients on Medicare do not get any type of assistance because it's a government entity, it clearly states this on their websites. Unless a person gets an infused drug, their options are even more limited.
