Looking for a new gastro

Hi,
I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I am looking for a new gastro in the Toronto area. My old gastro seems to have given up on me, but I still feel like crap. They have told me that the Crohn's isn't active right now. It seems that my new issue is caused by adhesions. But they don't see "acute" strictures so won't do anything.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I guess I should have said at the start of my post that my current gastro is at Mount Sinai. I do have an appointment with a colorectal surgeon at Mount Sinai but have already been told by my gastro there that no one there feels that surgery is necessary, and no surgeon would be willing to try anything. I guess the in-person appointment was to tell me that. This is not the first time, while in hospital there I personally heard them say the same thing to 4 different patients and sent them home. After 8 months of them putzing around I'm looking for someone to take a fresh look.

Sorry for the long delay in replying.
I am currently on no medications since they're pretty sure the Crohn's in not active right now. They think most of my issues are caused by adhesions. I have been told that I have an anal stricture (have had 3 dilations) and a kink in my lower bowel but the info has mostly been sketchy and not communicated well. I have problems passing gas and "stools." They put me on restoralax but it doesn't help a lot or all the time. My butt hurts and I have a fair amount of pain prior to a 'bowel movement" and afterwards. The restoralax makes me bloated and gassy.
