Tapering

That is possible. I don't know for sure. But it might be in your system enough to have to taper off... Have you talked to your doc about it???

I don't know much about that particular drug, however if the doctor is recommending, then there is a very good reason for it.

You can research the drug on the internet and see with the side effects are and warnings. Also, you could ask your pharmacist.

Some drugs are just that powerful.

I would follow the doctors instructions or ask the pharmacist! Never self medicate, never a good idea.
