Depressed of a Best Friend

I lost my best friend of 20+years a couple days ago. She was only 48. My depression really set in following this tragedy. I know others have lost loved ones as well and i'm greatful for this site 2 be able 2 express these feelings. I pray for my friends family, young kids and grandbabies, and husband.

Welcome to the forum.

So sorry for you loss.

If you find you are still struggling baddly in the weeks or months to come, you may want to search our a grief support group.

However, remember that are steps to go through the grieving process and we must allow ourselves to the time to process the loss. So we can honor that persons life for the rest of our life.

Spending time with her family and friends if that is possible for you will be a big help, telling stories sharing the good times together will help mend the pain.
