Side-Effects of Trazodone?

I am not quite sure where to put this...

I have recently been placed back on Trazodone (200 mg a night) and have experienced some possible side effects. They got to the point where I have had to stop the med for a week to see if they go away.

Does anyone here have (or had) any side-effects of this drug? I am having a very dry mouth and eyes, some ear/balance issues, and possible neurological side effects, but they might be due to some of my diagnoses. I am interested to know what side effects others have experienced using this medication.

I did. They have me staying off the med for a week to see if they get better. I have been off for three days already. I just want to know what other people have experienced on it.

The generic is Trazodone and the brand name is Desyrel. It is a depression med that is used a lot for helping someone get to sleep.

I am on a week off of it now (except Wed - it was already in my medicines, and I forgot to take it out. Some of the symptoms have resolved and some have not. I think I will be calling the office tomorrow and seeing what they think.

In the mean time, I am still looking for others experiences on Trazodone. :) Thanks.
