Cloudy/foggy/chilly here. Needed a day to 'do nothing'. I did 5 loads of wash yesterday and hung it all on the clothesline. It's all folded, but still needs to be put away.

One of the things I love most about gardening is that it is sure to show what a difference a day makes! 24 hours ago, nothing in the one veggie bed. 24 hours later, the cucumber seeds have sprouted up! There is so much that goes on unseen. Given time, it becomes apparent!

My delphiniums have grown so much from the rain!!! They get super tall. I love them.

My herbs are greening up too. Thought I lost some of them because they were so slow.

Hi all-

Remember the old Donna Summer song "She Works Hard for the Money"?

I'm sitting here in my Monday/Wednesday night class giving their final exam. I have worked my bootie off this semester teaching 4 nights a week plus a day time job.

One more final tomorrow night and I'm finished for the spring semester. Yay! No more fast food!!

Hello all,

I know I have been MIA for some time now so here is quick update.

March: Son and I were both slammed with colds flu's bronchitis and ear infects. Although by mid March we were on the healing train!

April: This was the month for allergies and nasty heat. Son went on field trip and had a blast.

May: Has been a musical month! My son is finding that music from the 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s is cool! Dad has a hernia that he needs taken care of asap. Son has a small cold, he sounds bad but it's not bad. I have been so busy and so messed up with my sinusitis and such so doing anything for me has been a chore. Friends of mine moved back from Oregon so we have been hanging out and catching up a lot lately. I am going to start walking to quit smoking and lose weight. Well I think that is my update. I will be back when I have a few. Take care everyone

Jess, hope things calm down on your side soon.

I had a dream last night about my father.

This morning at work my line manager told me her MIL fell off a step last night. Approx 12ft height. She got a broken shoulder, broken ribs, burst head. She is conscious but not sure about her condition yet. They stitched her head and got her in ICU but not allowing visitors since they're running tests. She's 65 years so we're all hoping for the best.
