Not I, Trina. I am a late person--we don't have dinner until 8:30ish. Chat is hard to follow, too easily misread, IMO. Especially for a topic like this. I might suggest a thread offering a email buddy/contact person, and that meeting in the chat room is an option the group follow in pairs or as a group. Email meetings might also be preferred,or even WebX. This way, there is a little more context and control, and people's personal information a little more protected.

Ms. Joyce, the 'petit caporal' might also have been a problem with historical meaning. 'Petit' in the early nineteenth century is a reference to intimacy and friendship, rather than necessarily being concerned with height. Nappie was a populist, well-loved by his soldiers and the lower classes. So the name of the 'little corporal' could be interpreted as well-liked, 'our' corporal. He was also surrounded by guards in tall hats, making Napoleon, who have been sitting,appear short.

I am headed to the gym after school. We have been watching the tour of Spain every night on Youtube, so I am ready for my race fix. I am also ready for school to be over for the day, because I really, REALLY, need to use the bathroom.

I went to lunch with a cousin that I haven't seen in years. We had a pretty good time. I was very nervous about it but it went well. I am glad I did go.

Went to the pain doc, then went shopping. So I had a busy day and do feel good mentally and emotionally but am tired.

Myself, Trina, I must say, we have tried chat and it hasn't gone very well, but it was never structured I don't think. It may go over, especially if there are topics. But I am not sure because it always fizzles out. I don't know how to set up the time. There is a world clock somewhere. And a place to schedule it. I am not good at being there myself. Just to let you know. But whatever is decided is cool with me as far as that goes. I would like to see it go well. Just saying...

Hello all. Feeling kind of blah. Not sad though. Had a moment or two where the thoughts that make me sad tried to creep in, but I was able to thwart them before they got a strangle hold on me.

Went to my psych dr Thursday. Expressed concern about the weakness and tremors on my left side. She told me this could happen with Latuda, so I said it has to go. She lowered the dosage and increased the Zoloft. I have a combination of meds that is working. Hope the changes keep me leveled.

Hi All. I have been around but haven't had a chance to sit down and post until now. I have had strange hours at work the last 3 weeks. I work in a childcare learning center but I had to work 8 hours on a Saturday on classroom preparation work and was there to 10:00 pm on a Tuesday night cleaning for a walkthrough by an accrediting agency and I also worked to 9:00 pm last night for the annual carnival. I've been very tired.

Well, both I and my ex-husband are taking my daughter to college on Monday morning. It is the start of her junior year. She and I had a great summer together and although I will see her on weekends I am really going to miss her. I hope I don't cry when I say goodbye! I still have my younger daughter at home for 3 more years, so at least I won't be here alone.

Today I was mostly productive. I took my car to get the oil changed, did some shopping at Walmart and came home and cleaned my tiny kitchen. (It was embarrassingly out of control.) I'm getting ready now to clean one of my bathrooms and then plan on studying for a little while. I am going to schedule and pay for my next Praxis exam next Saturday (after payday) and I'm debating between taking it on Sept. 25th or October 1st.

Socially, I tried to reconnect with some old friends on Facebook today. I have kept myself pretty isolated and I think I need to be around people again to help fight this depression.

Michele, I am glad that you had a good first week back at school. My younger daughter started her Sophomore year of high school this past Wednesday.

Karen, I hope you are doing well. Hello to Pitmom, PA_Grandma, Jamie and Myself. I hope you are all enjoying this weekend!

Hi Cass,

It has been up and down and back and forth with me lately. One of my meds went generic and it isn't the same. I went up on the dose and am feeling better.

Today I felt pretty good. But will probably still have to level off.

Sounds like things are pretty busy for you. I have recently realized (once again) that busy is better for me.
