Lexapro and Klonopin

6th day of taking Lexapro. I have to take it with a 0.5 of klonopin. Don't think I could handle it without it. Axiety, depression, insomnia, all of the normal side effects I've been reading about on here. I'm hoping after 2 wks this will settle down. Don't like talking klonopin to counter act the start up side effects of Lexapro. Waking up every nite at 2am can't get back to sleep. Will this stop soon?

I gave your thread a title so you will get more responses.

I have not taken Lexapro or Klonopin. So I am not much help. But I do read that the side effects do go away in about two weeks. I hope these medications work for you.

I am thinking you will be more normal with sleep soon. I use to take ambien but now I meditate to go to sleep. It does work.

Sorry you're having such difficulties with
lexapro you don't mention how many milligrams
I found out Lexapro at the least Side affects
Than most. Yes it should clear up in a fewweeks.
I'm no expert and only been on for for maybe 10 days

1013 The Lexapro is 10 mg. Tomorrow will be the 1 wk mark. So, I'm gonna hang in there & hope for the best. Thanks for responding

Getting by Thanks for the title. Also thanks for responding. I'm gonna stick with it. After reading on here most everyone says to give it time. So I will. Thanks for the support!

The 10mg is the same as I am taking I didn't say this before as it slipped my mind
I started with 5mg ( I cut the 10 in 1/2 ) did this for 7 days I'm now on my 10 the day some small side effects but nothing you can't handle.
Keep giving them a try I'm sure you'll be able too get through the SE with out many problems

1013. I'm starting to think my doc should have been more informative about the severity of the side effects. But I know everyone is different. I probably should have been starting out w 5 mg also. But I'm almost a wk into it now so ill tough it out. Thanks again and best of luck to you as well
