I hope you all have a great day today. Raining here and gloomy, well still dark, I got up early. But I hear it is suppose to be colder, we have had a few nice days.

Have been up since 3 am my time. It's 730am now. I am getting tired again. I fell asleep about 12am so not much night sleep but it was deep. I have eaten and will take my morning meds and lay back down. Chilly today so it will be a snuggle day for me. Hope everyone has a good one.

Niece had a relapse. She ate mc Donald and hot chips! Silly girl. She is feeling okay now. Just a relapse. I am super tired and still not right with the meds even though I am done.lol oh well

We hit close to 90 yesterday. Today is a much cooler day, overcast. I worked much of the day, went to my garden, and went to see a movie last night.

I have a migraine today. Planning Aunt's funeral and memorial service for the beginning of May. It has been scheduled by her friends for the same day as my sister died, which is appropriate, since she was closest to my sister.

Peter- I have felt the same way, my depression and anxiety are up. We can get through this with small steps at a time.

Jaime- I hope things are slowing down for you.

Karen- I am sorry for more snow. Can't wait for winter to finally leave and spring to make herself known. Stay warm and safe.

Myself- 90 is way too hot! We are in the 70s here and we are too hot already. Hope you had a nice time in your garden.

We are going to be getting more rain this week and next, ugh I am glad we got rain but can it be done yet? Lol
Still not sleeping all night, I refuse to go back on my sleeping pills though. I can do this without them.

Hi everybody.

We've been having unusually warm weather here, too. Too hot, too soon. I'm not ready to shave my legs and wear shorts yet! Farmers tan starting.

I got the main flower bed cleaned up and mulched. Added a few plants for the 'in between' time of early spring bulbs finishing up and the early summer flowers starting. We've got butterflies already and not much for them to feed from so I bought some lantana and snap dragons.

The patio is nearly finished. I've changed the seating arrangement a bit, trying for just a little more privacy from the street.

The plants I started inside are all now outside except for 2 pots of crocosmia. One of my amaryllis plants has decided to give me 2 more scarlet trumpet blooms! So unexpected! Hopefully the two pots of freesia on the patio table will do well and give me plenty of fragrance. The lily of the valley should be blooming in a few days and begin to perfume the air. The lilac bush is loaded with buds this year.

Bees are still suffering, worldwide. Without them our food sources will be greatly affected. I'm really trying to plant not just for my enjoyment, but to help sustain them as well. Lot's of native plants, lot's of their favorite food sources. Birds, butterflies, bees all play such an important roll in our survival by pollinating everything. >>>>>>>getting off the soap box now<<<<<<<<<

I hope to clean out the veggie bed today. I'm so late planting the sugar snap peas! Two more days until the frost danger is supposed to have passed.

Hi everyone,

I dont' post in here much, I mostly stay in the anxiety forum but here I am.

I have been in a funk for about a month now. I'm not crying or anything. I don't feel sad. I just have been sleeping a lot. I have to make myself leave the house. I also don't feel like posting on my boards, which is really weird.

I have to figure out how to get myself our of this.

Karen- I have been trying everything. I am sticking to my guns though. I hope you are sleeping well.

Pitmom- Bees are very rare anymore. For me it is okay because I have an allergy to them, but for our earth it is not okay. I hope we can get the population back up.

Hearts- I am sorry that you are not doing very well. I am hoping this will pass for you soon. Keep posting if you like, we are here for you.

Derwood- Have fun playing! I am sure you and Lupie will have so much fun. Be safe.

Peter we all have our faults. Government works are usually overworked. Perhaps he has a diagnosis he his dealing with, try to be tolerant, over him a cup of tea or coffee. A hot beverage goes a long way in making people feel better. Thus help you get help.

EVERYONE: I discovered this app for meditation and so much more. It is "Insight Timer" and it is Free! If you do not like it you can always un-install it.

My new medicine is finally working. Pain level is below a 6 most days all days.
But today, I did to much already and it is only 2:30p. I cleaned the bedroom, curtains and all. The vacumned the vents in the hall and bath floor.

I am resting to be able to wash the kitchen floor and make chicken salad for Johns dinner.

As a result of doing to much my pain of course is an 8, slowly going down with rest.
Bugger, looks like my limitations are staying around.

Hello everyone!

Today was my second busy day of the week. I did kitchen cleaning yesterday. Today I did laundry and remade my bed after the sheets were clean. I didn't put all of the clothes away, but there is tomorrow. My son got 2 months worth of homework done today. Now he is all done for the year. I am so proud of him for buckling down and doing that. I really messed up and drank 2 sodas today and now I am bloated and not happy. I won't do that again. I learned my lesson. Now it is 1am and I am winding down and going to go to bed. Sister is here with her boyfriend and his daughter and niece, too many people here for me. I am also dealing with a guy on a game I play that will not stop being nasty to me and I have told him I do not want anything to do with him he is married and he still won't stop no matter what I ask him. I may leave the game. I am tired of this. I will miss the friends that I have made. This is not cool. More later on.

been lookin' after mum post surgery. she had a form of histi a curete and kidney stent done. found a benign polop. came home, sis away with other stuff going on. i am just returned home. will be doing more as sis will be away again. am tired. chaotic, and nearly out of abilify which i am using sparingly. i am playing some black sabbath to soothe the savage beast. thx my friends.

Hello everyone. It's nice to catch up with how everyone is doing.
I had a little " down " spell , with some extra pain, but am feeling better now ( thanks Karen and Dawn ). One day at a time smile


A fellow went to see his doctor, and the doctor asked him " What
is wrong ? "


The patient said " doc , ya gotta help me...I hurt just about everywhere.


The doctor said " why don't you show me where you hurt? "


The patient says " Sure doctor, it hurts here as he touches his ear,

and it hurts when I touch my knee ( and he touches his knee ),

and he touches his elbow and says " it hurts my elbow too ! " and

he touches his chest and says" it hurts here too! "


The doctor scribbles some notes in his chart and says," I know what's wrong with you ; you've got a broken finger."


GROAN.... ;)

Hello all.

I 'over did' out in the yard...again. So much to do this time of year. My neighbor/friend redid her walkway and was getting rid of the old materials so I snatched them all up and hopefully the scalloped concrete pieces will help keep my fence from leaning after the dogs push the dirt against it.

I had to use the pitch fork first to loosen the compacted dirt and rocks, then grab the shovel, tote the load to the low spots, repeat, repeat, repeat. Then put the concrete pieces in place and back fill. Ugh.

At least I can open the gate now. I 'found' some pavers that had sunk down and decided to replace the flagstone pieces at the base of the steps with them. More digging, more hauling. Looks nice though.

I hooked up the new hose and sprayed the pavers off.

My daughter gave me a wonderful back rub. I've had my tea and am in my jammies now!

The fountain is running out on the patio and the garden is blooming nicely. A bit chilly this evening, but clear for now. Rain in the forecast so I will be working on slip covers for the rest of the cushions.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Better than the "new" crap any day imo Peter.

Busy ( and cold ) day today. Lupin is starting to want out frequently
now. Today it was just as I was getting my coat and sneakers on. I
think she wanted to come along sad

So I treated her to her favourite dish ( canned tuna in spring water - flaked ) for supper, and surprised her with a new cushion.
She loves it and is on it right now smile

Pitmom- Take it easy hun. Don't over due or you won't enjoy. Be easy.

Peter A- Music is not too good these days, I agree. The oldies are the best.

Lynwood- Slow down hun! A little bit at a time. I know it takes longer but it won't hurt so much.

Derwood- I am glad that you feel better. Stay the course and take it easy it will be worth it in the end. Nice little story, funny. Stay strong.

Karen and HT- Hope you are both doing okay. Stay strong my friends.

I have been doing really good the past 4 or 5 days, very little if any anxiety. Then my niece came back here today and my anxiety shot back up through the roof! I love my niece, why is this happening? She is fine, everyone is fine. There is no reason for this. Now I feel bad for feeling this way. My allergies are bad and driving me bonkers! Ugh! I am not happy that I feel this way about my niece being here. My mom will just be mad if I tell her so I can't say anything to anyone else.

Glad you have been feeling better. There is a way to help you figure out why you get anxiety when your niece is over.

I used to be this way, I used the skill of BODY SCAN to find the tension and emotions I was feeling. Turned out the fact my brother constantly said. "You don't know love til you have children" and would adimantly argue this piont.

I have no children. So of course, niece arrives = can't love.
Well, long history of manipulation and abuse in my family. But you see my point, yes?

So I suggest you go to mindful.org and search for body scan.

It won't take long to get the hang of it. May just help on other situations also.

Hey all!

Had a good therapy session yesterday. Don't have to go back for three months. Yay!!!

Getting ready to take a walk before it rains. It is cold again. Shucks... I want sunshine so badly.

Eager to get flower baskets for summer. I went by the farmer's market yesterday but they weren't open yet. So guess I will just have to putz in my garden. Spread some soil and clean things up.
