Our pets can be so human like can't they? They can pick up on habits just like us. With nicer weather we all want to go out more frequently. I imagine you have some rough winters like I do.

Trina- I am getting ready for my monthly so I am an anxious mess, but better today. Just cramping. Ugh

Karen- So glad that your doing so well. I have not seen my counselor in a month or more. This has been a hard Winter in my place.

Derwood- I am glad that Lupin can go outside and not feel so cold. I am sorry it is taking years to see a doc! I always heard that the Canadian health care system was really good. I hope something comes of your email. My kitties go outside no matter the weather. They don't care.

Pitmom- So glad your yard is coming together so nicely. I wish our yard could grow plants but we have crap for soil. We have sand here, blah! That's okay I will have a small garden one day.

So I am doing better today. Flashed of anxiety but nothing too bad, I am cramping really bad though. I want to go through the change already! I did talk to my mom last night about anxiety over my niece and she understands she is having her own too. My niece and sister do that to us as we get stuck in the middle. We have just made a pact to listen and help my niece but not go to my sister as it does no good. So stress and monthly are bananas this month. Once this has passed I will be all good. My Castiel is curled up by me and just too cute. I love him.

HT- It sounds to me like you are getting back on the right track. I would follow what your body is telling you and do what you and doc feel is right.

I am glad that even in all the drama you can be proactive with your mental health. I would think maybe a higher of Lam and lower on another med might help. I only take one ssri, so I have no idea.

I am sure others will know more than me. Stay strong and keep fighting Turtle buddy.

HT- I am so glad that you are gonna see your shrink on Monday. It's not too far off now. I hope that things will get better soon there after and stay better too.


My day has been crap. My friend called at about 3pm my time and she lost her brother day. He was only 37!

Then my son's little online friends started being mean to him and so that had him down.

Then I read the mail from Social Security and I was denied. AGAIN!!!! I am heartbroken for 3 reasons today. Just not a good day. I am super tired as well.

Thanks HT. I am so sad for my friend and her dad. He is out of pain and with his mama.

Dawn, sorry you were denied again. Are all your doctors on board with disability? This is usually the stone wall that gets in the way.

Jamie! Lamitcal is good, I have 100mg in my morning cocktail.
If you remember, Ability caused me to be weak, especially in the legs and I fell a Lot.
It will be very interesting if you start gain your strength back, and perhaps not needing the ambulatory devices!!

Hi Everyone. Today I took my ten year old schnoodle to the groomer. It was very overdue (about 5 months) and I am never going to let that happen again. She was matted, had about ten ticks (I didn't know they came out this early) and was extremely uncooperative throughout the entire process. I had to help hold her because she was growling so much!

I'm also applying to jobs at the moment. My child support will be up in mid July and my salary isn't high enough to cover my rent and bills. I'm quite stressed out and the depression is strong.

I've been keeping up with all of you (I hate the term lurker)...and thought it was time to start contributing again. Its always been hard to keep up with the routine but I'm going to give it a good college try.

I have loved hearing about your flower and vegetable garden work. It would be wonderful to see some pictures to go along with them.

Dawn, I am sorry for what you are going through. Take a deep breath and relax. Take things one day at a time. It is much easier that way. I hope you get your SS. It is very frustrating and can take about two years or more. My stepson is waiting at the time. And in the meantime it is hard to get by. But hang in there. It will happen if it is suppose to. I wish you the best.

Hello all. I know I haven't been posting as regularly...it's 'garden season'. Soon, I'll have to shut the computer down completely because there is no air conditioning in the living room and the fan can't keep the machine cool enough. I don't want anyone worrying about me.

I was so excited to see the Fritillaria Persica coming up in the garden but then a bit disappointed when it finally bloomed...rather dull and unremarkable was my first thought. Sitting in a different spot led to a change of perspective and...WOW! Then, to top it off, while I was doing a bit of weeding I got close enough to catch a whiff of the fragrance from this plant!!!!!!!! I just might have to move it or plant more, closer to the seating!!!!!!!!!! I've learned that just because something doesn't look so great right off the bat, a change of perspective may be all that is needed and closer 'inspection' may bring new information to light!

I'm 'crazy for bulbs' now. The front bed is crammed full! I'll have flowers from the earliest crocus in spring through Thanksgiving! Now, I just need a couple of hellebore plants and there just might be something in bloom nearly year round out there!

I transplanted the 2 clematis vines I bought on clearance last year and they are really taking off! One has already latched on to the new trellis! Flower buds galore on all of the vines! Vertical gardening is so important when you have such a tiny space!

My next project is the 'dog yard'. I plan to move the raised veggie beds from the corner to along side the trailer. I've moved the 2 adirondak chairs and the chaise lounge under the tree. This will essentially reverse the direction the dogs chase the ball during exercise time. My hope is this will keep dirt from being pushed up against the fence, causing it to lean.

I've bermed up the dirt that I pulled away from the fence, hoping it will help with the drainage issue and 'push' the water toward the planting beds. My neighbor is giving me old patio blocks which I plan to checker board and hopefully get some creeping thyme to grow in the open spaces.

My t.e.n.s. unit has me nearly pain free in the lumbar spine area! I don't want to mess that up with all of this planned heavy lifting so I will be taking my time. I have all summer to work on this after all.

Karen, my lavender is back again this year, however is is crawling,? I THINK toward the bright part of front yard. interesting. I want to get more plants.

I am still on crutches, even with splint boot on the pain shoots through my foot unmercislessly.

Thus is life, it will pass!
