Stop the world! I want to get off!

This morning, someone hit my truck and broke my tail light and bent the metal under it.

I had to move 2 cases of water and three 8 packs of gatorade from the front of the dryer, so I could do my laundry.

I wrenched my back, putting up the new shower curtain in the bathroom. Then, the new rod for the fabric curtain wouldn't stay up.

I need a vacation from my life.

I hope you feel better Pitmom. Things get overwhelming at times. Hang in there and know we are all here for you.

I hope your insurance will fix your tail light and that your back feels better from all that lifting.

I only have liability ins. on the truck.

Anyway, I got the new shower curtains up around the tub (messed up my back, but it's done). I have not installed a new tub surround yet so, I staple cheap shower curtains around for now. The cats tend to tear them and they're not exactly 'cleanable' so I replace them every so often. I had bought a pretty fabric curtain that I wanted to put up but the new tension rods were not cooperating! I was frustrated beyond belief! My son came and was able to get one of the rods up...AND put up the new curtain for me! Aqua flowers and butterflies, gray/black printings and Eiffel tower...just a touch of France in my bathroom! It matches the new toss pillow on my bed!

I have to find my joy wherever I can!

I was looking for Kevlar shower curtains, as well as Kevlar everything else that my cat used to sharpen his claws. Which was pretty much whatever was at hand... Hope you find a solution!

Yes, it can be frustrating... especially when the brand new scratching post is just about the only thing left untouched. Still, that was a good cat (gone now), aside from little things like shredding everything in sight.

I agree happiness where you can find it!

Last night I forced myself to go to a contemplative prayer group I have been trying to attend for 6mos.
I finally made it and it felt wonderful. Small victory.

Monday I had my first epidural on my upper neck. c4 and c5

My neck, right arm and shoulder/shoulderblade feel better. Chronic head pain is still there, lessened, but my neurologist also increased a med two weeks ago.

so we will see what happens.
Book a Art/craft show vendor space 5/4 in a artsy town Mullicah Hill. Going to start tying to sell some of my art. I am not saying I am good. However, I looked at my canvas's from 3-4 years ago, I can see why they did not sell! Practice and knowledge makes a Huge difference in ones work

Mullica Hill near Philly, or am I not even in the ballpark? We used to pass by there on the way to regattas in Philly (I was on the crew team in high school). Fond memories of the days before grim reality hit.

Hi Everyone,
I just took my very first dropper of CBD oil for a migraine. I must say, I did get some relief but not full relief. I took another dropper 40 mins later. We'll see what happens.
The seller told me that CBD oil is good for Depression. Has anybody tried it?

I am glad the cbd oil helped. I mix it with coconut oil and make a salve out of it that I keep in the refrigerator. It helps a lot with pain. And it is fast.

Karen - I read that "salve" idea and just today, I suggested it to my Sister who gets "Workout wounds." She teaches advanced aerobics and spin classes. She said that she had to stop using it because her kids now know what pot smells like. So, I told her to add it to coconut oil.

Trina - I do not have yarn but I would make a donation.

I hope that the salve helps your sister. The coconut oil kind of does mask the smell.

I had yarn but donated it to senior citizens last year.

Found it... I like your latest works, especially the dog! smile Dali comes to mind, though I'm not exactly an art connoisseur (studied it a little in college as part of language courses).

Nor am I and Art connoisseur.

All I know, is when I paint it's as if the art comes from deep in side me.

The dog pic felt like a lesson, the back round felt like joy. Next one I do, The animal, will be drawn on top of the back ground since now I know the plain pick of an animal is not comfortable for me.

Even though I know the truth is that version would sell better. A friend suggested a do a few mat them, put them in the front of vendor tent to draw people in. I can not deny the practicality of this. Plus making back the cost of the lot.

I am not "PA_grandma" but am her son.

"PA_Grandma" passed away this past December. I was going through some of her papers and found a request that I go on-line and let her frends know that she has passed. I hope this is the right forum/thread.

Oh, son of PA_grandma, thanks so much for coming online and letting us know of your mother's passing. Joyce was a good source of support for us here and I hope she was able to gain some comfort from us as well. Peace.
