PA-Grandma,

On the puzzle with three letters and 2 added which make something

less, are the two letters added UP?

(I have an appointment and thought I'd work on it while driving to

meet it.)  If so, it could be putup, dipup, digup, cupup, ripup, mixup,

hitup,    etc.

Since this thread is addressed to you, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for all the marvelous threads you have started. I really enjoy reading what you write and playing the games. Even if I don't always do it right. lol... But Thank You. It lightens up the forum and brightens it up too.

I know that you work hard everyday and I am glad that you are able to take a few minutes here and there to pop in and share with us.

Playing games is just that...playing. It's just for fun...and I call stuff that isn't quite right an 'Oopsie'. I make my share, too.

Just one last thought...if I haven't mentioned it before.  My computer is giving me a lot of grief. (Hard disc needs to be replaced).  So if I 'disappear'...that's why.  Don't want to ask my son to repair until we get finished with our Christmas orders.  He's a partner in our business and has his hands full too, right now!

I agree with what Karen said, you do make a difference, evn if I can't get my head around the games. Member when you first joined, and I said Grandmas are the best cause they have worked out what really matters in life, well having an oppsie just proves it, our Grandma J doesn't sweat the small stuff.

Well Grandma J, time to dust of your pink fluffy slippers, the weekend is approaching, I know you will be down the driveway stalking your letterbox again, lol

Awty, I DO remember... and just an update. John (my husband) now gets the Wall Street Journal delivered EVERY day. Boy, my slippers are gonna get a work out. No wonder they're so dirty.

Joyce, I just read your post on the word "few" adding "er" for fewer.

Talk about being blind; I must be for sure! That was a really baffling one and so simple! That's why they say that sometimes the simplest things seem to be the hardest!

Thanks for the info; I would NEVER have gotten it, and it was bothering
me. I would have responded sooner, but was at my doctor's yesterday
and didn't catch up until now.
