D3 helps us when it is winter and the days are shorter. A lot of animals go into hibernation in the winter. Because of the shortness of the days they know. I think we are effected a little by not getting as much sun. The vitamin D3 gives you the same as you would get from sunshine. But it gives you energy and helps you to feel better. Most people take 1,000 to 2,000 iu's a day. I take 5,000. But mine was very low. You can get that checked in blood work at the doctor's office. Or you could try a low dose, 1,000 iu and see if it helps you feel better.
I Hope you get some energy. I hope that you feel better. I only sleep about six hours a day now. I use to need eight. But I think I changed with my age. The older we are, the less sleep we need.
