Hello Bnot and Getting by!
Well, he said that when I feel ready, I should lower the current dose by 10%, which is a pill every couple of weeks. He said the same thing with Cipralex. But with Cipralex, I had to go by 5% (certainly not cold turkey either, like he suggested the first time I went off it).
My doctor didn't believe (still thinks so) I wasn't having any depression symptoms. I was great after stopping Cipralex––no symptoms or withdrawals. He just told me to raise my dose to help with sleep because of the amount I had last year. It helped, but I don't want to use antidepressants for stress. My stress levels aren't bad.
I've always been sensitive with doses, so, like I said, I'm not sure. I don't know anyone who's been Doxepin either. Would liquid be a good way to go?
Thank you :)
