Trying to navigate the site for the first time.. it was a good read before a colonoscope I had scheduled for today..
Candidly "kids" (said with love I assure all) this is my first time on any type of medical "board" .. the colonoscope was a complete failure, and done to appease the wife, kids, and my onc. Who after eight years of treatment for prostate c, as well as lymphoma, which is in remission (thank you Lord) knows me better than about
anyone..
Forgive me for hi jacking the thread, I'm sure there is a new member posting area I need to find.. I will say that i'm comforted in a sight that has others looking for a way forward, and after reading the posts, pretty sure I'll be a regular..
Oh! On the colonoscope.. what a disaster.. the wife and I thought we'd do it 100% "right" so after two days of bland "white" food, I started taking the prep in the early evening, by dark I was producing effluent that was the definition of a successful prep.. uhhh, yeah, then everything changed and I started having BM's.. the prep was gone, I did enimas (yep two) trying to save the procedure which was scheduled for 10 AM.. this resulted in a case of major illness, bleeding "raids" and world class diarrhea.. i can still smell the prep 24 HRS later.. life is wonderful, but the aging part needs a review.. God bless ya'll (Retired in AZ)
