Feels like I have a lot to say.
I would normally go to a 12-step meeting today, but I am too depressed to leave the house. I have checked in with a couple of friends who are in my 12 step program. Of course I would love it if I didn't care what people think, but i was glad my sponsor approved of me staying home. There are things I can do, reading 12 step literature, calling people, writing, going for a walk, praying, meditating.
When I get bad like this I become afraid of all kinds of things - driving is my biggest challenge. But if that fear stays with me, I can ask my sister to drive me places, or ask other people, or just walk up to the shopping center.
Mostly I just needed to check in here. I usually get good feedback and encouragement from this site.
