You are doing really well with the weight loss! That's great! Changing your eating plan to fewer carbs and doing some sort of daily exercise will help you continue that too. Your co-worker may not care about
herself but that's her problem. She may have given up or just doesn't care. In any case, you need to take care of
you, which is exactly what you are doing. The best you can do is for yourself and and your family. You need to be there for them and be healthy.
When your nutritionist talks about 'fats', is she including olive oil in that, too? Olive oil is beneficial but it does add calories - not that you should drink it! Instead of salad dressings like Ranch, Russian, etc. you might try just a vinaigrette with oil and vinegar (or oil and lemon juice).
Sometimes yogurt can be substituted for sour cream. Check the labels for fat and carb content on them. I think yogurt may have more protein.
