Chocolate Milk Anyone? Only 5 Carbs Per Serving!

I posted about this several years ago and people, including Lanie, were having problems finding it in the stores. Walmart carries it...at least here in Florida. This is wonderful and I can get my chocolate fix without spiking my blood sugar. It’s filling too. Hope those of you who would like this can find it.


You know, this is the best of both worlds. You can have a wonderful chocolate flavor, get good nutrients, and it's low carb to boot! Did I mention it's only 80 calories in a serving???? I discovered this a while back and it really is delicious, thick and creamy. It gives me my chocolate "fix", too! I also will heat it up for hot chocolate on the chilly days...no marshmallows. It's called Hood's Calorie Countdown. I live in Florida and I can get this at Winn Dixie and Walmart. Hood is a national company that started 160 years ago so this product should be available where you shop. You do have to do a little hunting in the dairy case. That's why I put up this link so you can see what it looks like and the nutritional chart.

Thanks for the link! Our supermarket (Kroger) doesn't carry it and I haven't been to Walmart. Since I buy cat food there, I'll see if they sell it.

Let me know if you can get it. I sure hope so. It’s wonderful! Yesterday I had 1 1/2 cups for lunch. Only that and it was yummy, I was full, and it was about 8 carbs for my lunch!
