I don't have epilepsy, but chronic respiratory alkalosis which makes the nerves in my hands, feet, and face overly sensitive. But I was wondering if anybody with epilepsy suffers from this problem:
I can't tolerate hi-definition anything. I can't watch movies on DVD. I can't use a computer resolution higher than 640x480. I can't tolerate high-def TV. I also can't tolerate strobe lights, or anything flickering/flashing quickly. I have some friends who say they find these things cause pain for them, too, which is why they prefer VHS, for example.
So I was curious as to whether these things bother epilepsy patients, because I've heard that things like strobe lights can trigger seizures. Have you been bothered by such things, and if so, did any medications help you?
Thanks.
