Expectations

The shortest version I can give......

My son, age 11, had his first tonic clonic seizure on New Years Eve 2015. Since that time we have seen a neurologist regularly and he has been medicated with Lamictal. He has had 8 seizures this year, as recently as two days ago. I realize with others having many, many seizures this is not alot.......but it is alot to us.

Question - we have not had any medication changes other than an increase in the Lamictal. Are my expectations too high or should I be hoping for less seizures and other medication explorations?
