We all have the "background pain", that pain that you just ignore because it has become like a relative who came to visit & just won't leave. Irritating but ignored for the most part. Like my wrist that will twinge when I am trying to
open a bottle but I only feel it on a subconscious level. I have pain that will be there one day or for a week, but once dealt with,it is gone. But then there is the pain I have that is there as soon as the meds start to wear off, the pain that stops me in my tracks & reminds me I have Fibro. For me it is my neck pain & if I don't take something right away it will creep up the back of my head & down into my shoulders. I can not function with this pain & if I didn't have my meds I would be in an institution. This is the pain that will make or break me. So, what is your "main pain"? I have noticed we all seem to have different spots that seem to be the make or break pain.
