I finally stopped taking it. 3 weeks in, no relief and horrible side effects.
I am disapointed.

So sorry Melissa that the Savella has not helped you. It is too bad that you endured
all the side effects without getting any relief. I hope you will find something that works
well for you. Sending pain-free vibes your way.
I am on week 6 of Savella and no bad side effects and no relief either. I will continue to
take it and hope it kicks in. My next rheumy appt. is September 8th, maybe he can tell
me what is going on.
Take Care

I'm so sorry...for both of you. I know when you start something new your hopes are up. But, keep searching. You'll find something that will help you control the pain.

My question here-has anyone taken Savella and found that it helps with the fatigue? My pain level isn't so bad that I can't live with it, but this fatigue is ruining my life.
My ARNP wants to start me on Savella, but I'm skeptical. Plus, I'd have to stop the Pristiq I just adjusted to. I'm just wondering if the benefits might outweigh the possible negatives.
Anyone?

Melissa, sorry it didn't work for you. It is hard when you get your hopes up that it will work!
Dreamspinner, I do think I had more energy on savella. Your Pristiq is already an ssnri, so maybe it wouldn't be to difficult to switch. I know savella works on the norephinephrine more than cymbalta, but I don't know about
Pristiq. Good luck.
