My visit to the Doctor

 Well friends I got a call yesteday from the clinic saying they had a cancellation and could I be there at 2:30 for my biopsy results. I told them I could and when I got off the phone the fear I felt almost took my breath away. I figured if they were calling me in early it had to be cancer. Its alot different thinking about it than having to hear it said.

Anyhow me and hubby went up their and it turned out that the biobsy that they did wasnt a good one. So now I have to go in next Tuesday for a needle biopsy and I wont find out the results until either Friday or the following Monday.

I would have posted yesterday but just had to have time to deal with this. Thank you all so much for your prayers and please keep on praying. Love you all

Shirley, I'm so sorry you're going through so much fear and stress while trying to find out what is going on. That's so hard.

When you said the biopsy they did before wasn't a good one, do you mean it was inconclusive and that's why they're doing another one?

Stay strong. You're going to get through this one step at a time. You can do this. You are strong enough. *hugs*

Shirley, thanks for explaining. You can count on having every single spare prayer and good wish I can muster up. I'm probably one of the biggest cowards you're going to find - but sometimes when I'm anticipating something it helps me to think of how strong I'll feel after after I get it over with. Remind yourself that you can handle this. You can do it. You're a lot stronger than you think you are.

Thanks all of you so much. It is not so bad now that I have a few days before the next biopsy. I am trying not to think of it too awfully much. But there are some things I cant help but do the what if on. I was with my mom the night she died, it started out in her uterus but ended up dieing because it spread to her lungs. I dont want to go out of this world gasping for air that is not there. If it comes down to it and there is no more hope I want to be unconcious at the end. Is that a terrible thing to wish for. Im sorry friends just having some rough thoughts right now.

Shirley, last year I was seeing a hemotoligist/oncologist and had a couple of bone
marrow biopsies. The next month I had a breast biopsy. Both times waiting for test
results I hoped and prayed for the best. I was lucky, but in both cases the thought of
dying crept in. I think those thoughts are natural. Only God knows our fate and I put
my trust in Him. I do wish to die in my sleep and wake up in Heaven.
