Weird new symptom

This is going to sound strange, even my doc looked at me like I was an alien.

It feels like it is raining in the left side of my head. The earliest I can get in to see

a neurologist is in March but a CT scan is being scheduled for me...so maybe they

will get me in sooner. Anyone with this strange symptom?

Is it rather a wooosshhh sound / feeling or almost like water in the ear deep?  I had something like that a few times when I tried new meds. Any new meds added lately?

A few weeks back I had an appointment with my rhuemy. I finally remembered
to tell him about losing my balance when I stand with my feet together, hands at
my side and eyes closed (Romberg Test)... I did a post on Romberg Testing a
while back. He was the one who set up the neuro appt.

Yesterday I had my yearly physical with my PCP...told her about the new symptom.
She did the follow my finger test. she said I had nystagmus in my left eye...when
I followed her finger to the left...she said my eye quckly changed direction.

Well it's the left side of my entire head that feels like it's raining in. My left ear
feels like it has water in it...she checked and it had none. She is the one setting
up the CT scan. I had a couple visual things going on strobing lights and zig zag
patterns. I used to get those right before a migraine hit, but these recent visual
disturbances had no headache or migraine that followed.

I also get the sensation of water dripping down my leg at times. Boy, I have one
weird body! My Mom always told me as a kid "Don't be like everyone else, be
differant. It's more interesting being unique." I'm unique alright!!!

Is it like a tingling sensation...I don't think this is what you mean but I get that often but I have experienced the raining too, but not as often.

Like others, I get the feeling of water dripping in my body, different places, different times. I remember one day it happened several times in a row. I kept looking up at the ceiling. My husband says "What are you looking for up there??" I said "I feel water drops hitting my let".. he reaches down and rubs my pant leg and says "You're weird. Your pant leg is dry!!" (But we both already knew I was weird...) lol. I hope it's nothing serious but glad to hear you are getting a CT. With the visual changes, weird sensations and that rapid eye changing direction thingie... Definitely better safe than sorry!! Good luck!!

Oh, and I should mention that I have had those random dripping feelings on my head like I got hit with rain. But it's just one here and there...

Thank you for your concern and well wishes. The Doc's office has not called with
CT scan appt info yet. I'll have to call them to see what is up.

The " rain inside my head " has subsided...only slight pressure on the left side of
my head. I'm anxious to see what is going on. I'm not stressing over it though.
I've learned in the South everything moves in two speeds...slow and reverse lol.
