Saw the neurologist today...

The neuro doc was very friendly, thorough, spent an hour with me. At the end

of the exam, he said that his findings warranted a brain MRI. He suspects that

I might of had a stroke or that the Lupus is attacking my brain or the possibility

of MS.

He said that the MRI is needed, so I'll be going Dec.7th and get my head

examined...so looks like it's the waiting game again...

What's one more diagnosis?

Thanks Donna...I had a CAT scan that my primary doc had set up for me.
Initially my appointment for the neurologist was March 9th that my rheumy
set up. When I went for my yearly physical with my PCP she decided to get the
ball rolling and sent me for the CAT scan...the results came back normal.

The neurologist said my PCP should not of ordered a CAT scan...it doesn't
show enough. My right leg has some spascisity going on, both my eyes have
difficulty following a pen back and forth without them bouncing around.
I had trouble distinguishing hot or cold on parts of my body, couldn't tell which
way some of my toes were being bent (eyes closed). I fell over like a bowling
pin when he did the Romberg test...so he said I have some stuff going on.

At this point I guess it all the same...pain, possibility of more meds...I'm still
going to live my life the same way...one day at a time.

Robin, I'm so sorry you have another thing on your plate.  I'll be praying that all they see is one very healthy brain.  Keep your fantastic attitude going because, as you already know, that really helps us!
