It sounds like you are fortunate to have it localized. If we are right about what it means. But just incase, don't be surprised if it does move around. I hope I am not jinxing you. But mine was in my neck and shoulders and then later it was in my hips. But it stays mostly in my neck and shoulders. I have found what is called a bed buddy. It is a tube (if you don't already know this) filled 3/4 the way with rice or beans. Sometimes they are called a bean bag. But you heat it in the microwave and then wrap a towel around it and put it around your neck. It really helps with the fibro pain because it puts off a nice moist heat. You might want to get one and try it. I got mine at Walmarts in the pharmacy section.
I know how those shots go. I use to get them for a dermatitis that I had on my hands. My arm would ache for days. I hope that yours doesn't go on that long. Your name sounds new to me, so I want to make sure to welcome you to the forum. I think that you will like it here. Everybody is so compassionate and understanding.
I hope that you feel better soon. Keep posting and know that we care.
Hugs, Karen
