I stopped going to a chiropractor because he injured me. I now get massages and they really do help me. BUT you want a gentle massage and also a massage therapist that knows what they are doing. My massage therapist is in an organization called the American Massage Therapy Association. To be a member, you have to continue taking courses in massage. She recently finished a course on how to massage cancer patients. She knows how to massage people with fibro and myofacial pain syndrome, etc.
Here is a link to that organization and you might find a massage therapist in this organization that is close to you. Be sure to ask if they massage fibro clients.

Hi, Renee, and welcome! Why don't you start a thread all about yourself so all the members know you are here! I'm looking forward to meeting you.
