Pain and discomfort in pelvic area. Please help

I am newly dx'd of this disease about 3 months ago. I am having pain in the corner of my pubic area on my bone. The doctor had said this my ligaments and tendons that are inflammed from my fibro. The pain went away for 3 weeks and now has came back. Also having pain in armpit (both sides). Shooting pains down the bck of my legs and dull pain on top of breast. Has anyone else ever had this type of pain from fibro. Can certains things caused flare ups? Just need some answers. Very worried. I keep wondering if I have cancer. Doctor did blood work and everything came back normal except vitamin d level. Any advice would be great. Thanks

The pain in your chest area could be costochondritis. It goes along with fibro. Fibro is going to keep your muscles feeling tight. Gentle stretching can help with that.

There are many things that can cause flare ups and stress is one of them. Try to eliminate all stress in your life. It will really help. Try walking when you can. And drink a lot of water. It helps keep muscles hydrated.

Oh yes, Welcome to the forum. There is a thread called "fibro 101". I highly recommend you looking at it. It is the second thread on the forum. There is a lot of helpful information there.

Keep posting, let us know how you are doing. We will help you as much as we can.

and aches and pains in all sorts of places will come with the teritory. and yes i get pains in my groin bone area at times, and nothing seems to help. the bone burns and stings ..i also get the same feeling in my hands,shins,femurs and upper arm (always the right upper arm). but thats just one of the stupid pains that we get.. i call them stupid pains cause there are usually no reason for them they just like to pop up here and there when ever they feel like it.
try to enjoy your "new " life cause it will deffantly be different than what you are used to. i'm not being mean or sarcastic just trying to let you know what come in store with fibro.

Welcome to the fibro forum. Just ask me where I don't hurt. Lol I am so use to the crazy fibro pains, I just tell myself it shall pass. Guess what? It usually does go away. Hopefully you will find some comfort and support here. Educate yourself as much as possible and your family. I have improved, but I still have my days.

Hi,

You might want to look into having a free consultation with a chiropractor who is knowledgeable about fibromyalgia.

Last year I was having a continual pain in my chest that caused me to be short of breath. I had various tests done and they came up with nothing and I also was put on an inhaler which never has done anything for my asthma.

I went to see my chiropractor days later and he adjusted one of my upper ribs. He said it was out of alignment. The pain was instantly gone and my breathing was much easier. What had happened was I do some exercises with 3 lb. weights and I had added a new one. The next day is when the pain began. I'll never do that exercise again.

You must be talking about me, I get the very same pains. sometimes my groin pain is on each side sometimes goes across the entire area, I was thinking gas pains but probably not. I use to get the above breast pain on the left only now it is both sides.
actually the above breast pains is where my fm first began but than moved right through the breast into the lower ribs or visa versa. I have been dxed with costo and have fibrocystic breast disease, who knows what is causing what. When I get the underarm pain I have a tender point right near the underarm, that sucker really hurts and can send pain under the arm and across the entire chest.
