I get the itchies, too! And it sucks, because if I try to really scratch it and make it go away I end up really hurting my tender points :( Mine is mostly on my back, head, chest, and legs.

My itching is on my back, fingers, arms, ribs, and legs. Lot of places. Should have told you where I don't itch. LOL

oh yes, back and legs are the worse. It is enough to drive me crazy, but of course since alot of people think I'm crazy anyway with having fibromyalgia - they also look at me funny when I continue to cough when I don't have a cold.

Do you know what causes us to itch? Do you feel burning after you scratch in addition to pain?

allergies and dry skin. at least that is what my doctor said. a combination of allergies where I then break out in a rash, a very itchy itchy rash.

I have this too. I've had it for years. First it began in my back now it's pretty much all over. I heard it's from nerve damage. Mine couldn't be from dry skin, I apply lotion for sensitive skin twice a day. I do have to be careful about
what lotion and what soap and what laundry soap I use because it does make the itchiness worse if I use them.
Here's an article that talks about
itchiness and nerve damage:

Thank you for posting article, almost medfree! By the way, this makes a lot of sense and I learned something new. Also, I admire your naturopathic means toward healing. I have a naturopath and I love the remedies and supplements .It works for me at this stage too.

I have experienced this often on my legs. I applied solarcaine once (because it was there and I was out of benadryl cream lol) and the numbing agent helped temporarily.
