Parties are a great pain reliever

Yesterday, I could of sworn I was a "normal". Having a party always distracts my pain...maybe that's why I love to throw them. All the preparation keeps my mind occupied and when my guests show up, it's all fun. Today, I'm feeling pretty good too.

I'm going to see if I can keep this party feeling going...each day I'm going to celebrate life by sharing my joy with others, even if it only  sharing my smile.

I choose to be happy, caring and kind

 

I want to be strong, both in body and mind

 

I pray with God's help, these things I will find

 

Spread joy and laughter, be willing to share

 

It is a wonderful way to show that you care

Preparing to host a party for me, just adds stress to my life. But I agree, Robin that being with people (party or not) is a great way to distract myself from some of my pain.
Last nght I went to a friendly gathering where friends played cards. We all had a fund time and through conversation, I realized I am not the only one living with painful issues. Others have problems too -- maybe not physical pain -- but painful problems non-the-less.
