I thought I'd ask first if we could discuss the wonderful youngins in our lives. :) Children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.... the kids who you love.

If admins say it's ok, I'd love to share about my babies and hear about the special little people you all love. :)

Unfortunately my health issues have made it where I can't have any biological children:( But I do have my boy yellow lab who has been with me for 8 and 1/2 years!..

As well as adorable nieces, nephews, and even a grand nephew! And then I have wonderful kids (many now grown adults) that I love whom are from my churche's youth group that I used to help lead over 10 years. So I am their second mom:)

I was told at 16, after I had an ovary removed, that I'd never have children. God had a different plan though! I have two darling daughters, ages 8 and 5. They are the light in my world, the song in my heart, the very reason I keep fighting to live each day! Blonde haired and blue eyed, they are the very essence of all that is pure and beautiful. T will be in 3rd grade next month and K will be in kindergarten. I will have the whole day to myself, and I will probably sit and cry! :( LOL They both involved in dance, cheerleading, pageants and church. Lots of activities to keep them busy and out of trouble. :) The older one takes guitar lessons and is very musical. She has had her art displayed at a local art museum. She is the "artsy" one. The little one is spunky, very energetic and has no interest in the "mellow" activities that her sister does. She'd be happy to jump on a trampoline and let her little motormouth run all day long! I love my daughters with my whole heart, love to kiss and hug them, love to spoil them, love to just watch them grow and learn.

All of our nieces and nephews live 6 hours away, so we don't get to see them as often as we'd like to. They are all such good kids, so smart and talented in their own ways. The older ones email, call and text message frequently which is SO nice! I love them all and miss their smiles.

We have a fur baby, a kitty, who we adopted 5 years ago. She thinks she is human. LOL

I had an ovary removed and got pregnant three more times!  I don't think your doctor knew what they were talking about!  LOL

 

I have three adult children that are wonderful...and wonderful to me.  I couldn't be blessed more if I tried.  One daughter lives three miles from me and we have the best time together and she is there for me when I'm having a bad time.  This winter, when I was in abject misery, she would come over, clean my house, take out the garbage, etc.  I never even asked her. 

 

My other two children live up north and I miss them terribly but they do come here and I go there so it's not like we can't see each other.

But, I'm in constant contact with them, too, via phone and email.

I am blessed with a wonderful daughter.She is 36 and an only child, but when she married I got a great son in law.
It warms my heart to see her in a loving marriage, that gave me my sweet little grandaughter who will be 4 in September.

Even though we live so far apart, I'm able to visit with them throughout the year. Our next get together will be in Sedona in September where we have planned a vacation around some beautiful scenery.

Having Skype has helped me stay close...it has helped me build a close relationship with my young grandaughter. It is a joy for me to see my daughter be a warm nurturing Mom.

She had a wonderful career and decided to forgo it to be a fulltime Mom. Just recently my daughter and grandaughter recieved a certificate for "reading" children's books...1000 books read before kindergarten. They both are active in Y programs throughout the week and get together with other Moms and kids they met since a group joined shortly after the kids' birth. I've met these Moms and their kids as infants and have been lucky to see them grow up. These woman and children have a special bond. I hope they can continue their get togethers for years to come.

My daughter and I are very close even though we're far apart. I love her through and through...she has a smile that will engage you...her eyes wide, bright and blue. She is sweet, fun, loving and kind...very smart with a open mind. Get to know her and from the start...you'll learn she has a loving heart.

We have been blessed w/ three children - all adults now. We had our 2 sons the old fashioned way, but I had my tubes tied after the 2nd boy. I had 3 very difficult pregnancies, couldn't do it again. But, I had always hoped to adopt at least 1 child. Thankfully, my husband-to-be thought it was a great idea, so that was a goal we had.

When we were ready to adopt, we put our faith in God. And He was so good to us, again!!  Our daughter is our girl. Our 3 children are all very close to each other and to us. Our older son and daughter live locally, but our younger son is in school in FL. They all text me, call frequently, and email. The local 2 are here quite often or we visit at their places. The younger son came home for Memorial Day weekend (long weekend - Y E S) It was so great having them all 'home' for at least a wk. I miss them not living here, but it's time for them to be on their own.

Our DD has a lovely young man, the whole family loves him, as an extra bonus, his family has become very close to us. I have always hoped my children would bring home our 'new' son/daughter and so far DD is doing just that.  wink

We are blessed w/ children who live their lives in a very positive manner. They still love and worry about their folks. I couldn't be prouder of our 'babies'.

I have an amazing Daughter (14) who I am extremely proud of.

I am not sure how I got so lucky, but she is a hard worker and gives me very little trouble. She is an A student,very involved in music, and works as a volunteer at he library in the summer.

I also have the 2 big kids, my stepsons 34, and 32.

The younger son is single. He has no intentions of settling down anytime soon :)

The older boy is a single Dad to my beautiful red headed diva granddaughter.

I also have my little fur child my 11 yo apricot tiny toy poodle.

My son is 8. He's a special monkey with ADHD, Aspergers (form of autism) and Bipolar. He isn't biologically mine though. Was dating the dad when he got full custody of Coda Bear, when he was only 1 1/2 years old. The biological mother was abusive, in multiple forms. We had broken up when Coda Bear was almost 5. For the sake of him, I stayed in the picture to continue being his mom. I love him to bits and pieces though. I kidnap him for my vacations and I also take him weekends and in the summer for half of every month.

I have a son and a daughter that are grown (22 and 24) and 3 cats I love like they were my kids.

Aww fibros! :) I love hearing such loving replies about the kids (the biological, the children of your hearts, fur babies) in our lives!! I find children (mine and the ones I love) to be so therapeutic for me. *gosh, I hope that doesn't sound perverse, I sure don't mean it that way at all!! *

Yep, I'm another one that was down an ovary plus had (undiagnosed) endo and still had kids. My older son is 12 and has Asperger's that's fairly pervasive but he does pretty well. He's smart and loving and an endless source of knowledge on Pokemon and a few other subjects. My younger son is 10 and has severe ADHD plus speech issues from chronic ear infections when he was younger. He's on a medication that controls the ADHD enough to be able to do better in school than he used to and help him sleep well but he doesn't seem to have any side effects, thank goodness. He's my messy kid but he's funny and cute, so I think I'll keep him anyway. They're quite a handful at times but are the sweetest and most respectful kids I know. We also have four furkids, two cats (Bellatrix and Tango) and two Chihuahuas (Spud and Bean). Bella's my little princess cat, Tango's our indoor/outdoor tomcat, Spud's our old man and Bean's our tiny (3 lb) spitfire. On top of that, we have a niece who's almost one and a 3-year-old nephew, and I love them to pieces. Our niece just started walking last week and is all ready dancing-so cute! Our nephew is a hardheaded and mischievous little thing but is so dang cute that it's hard to stay mad at him.

I have 3 grown children 35, 34, 29, all with children as we

As 3 stepchildren 26, 24,21 the eldest has 2 children and another on the way.

I am currently keeping 2 of my grandsons until the beginning of September.

I love them all but there are some issues with the grown ups they all can not be in the same room together no matter what we are celebrating.

The children light up my life they give me lots of hugs, whole my hands when crossing the street.
