This weekend was gorgeous. We went for a hike at a nature preserve nearby. Flat land, so it wasn't horribly taxing for me. We did four miles and enjoyed the scenery.

What have you to be positive about today?

Four miles?! Holy moly, that's fantastic! I hope I can someday do that again :)

I took a last-minute sub job, even though I felt on the edge of a cold, and it turned out really well. Just didn't feel like giving in to the "what-ifs" today. So I feel good about that.

I managed to sit down and do 3 packets of information for SSD with multitudes of interruptions and kept most of my sanity. @@

It's gorgeous here, too....low 80's....so I'm loving my walks.

I finished my Christmas shopping yesterday!!! I did 90% of it on line so it was quite easy. Now THAT makes me happy!

I got mine done too. Just wrapping a few gifts a night so it isn't so overwhelming. Laundry day today. I go to the matt. Kind of fun. Usually run into somebody to talk to. So that makes it less tedious...

My kitty got his cast off and he has finally quit cleaning it to death. Next week our baby kitty (who is actually the oldest but much smaller than Mojo, the actual youngest) is going to get spayed. Which doesn't sound positive but I'll be glad to have both cats done with spaying/neutering and shots.
My daughter got the citizenship award for november. I'm very proud of her! She's such a laid back, easy going kid. I'm so lucky my second child has been such a breeze so far because my oldest is making me pay for my raising with sarcasm and talking back. I love him to pieces but boy, that kid can really push his limits. He is an angel when I don't feel well, though.

RAh for finished Christmas shopping! Rah for kitty health!

I am deciding, for my mental health, to put aside my irritations with work and with people around me. I think I would do this so much better if my office was not ungodly hot. Old building, heat on, and hot outside, no way to get fresh air inside. Also, if I leave my door open, I get everyone stopping by asking me stupid questions, since the secretary took the day off. If I close my door I cannot breathe.

I am going to set it aside. I am going to try to open my window and see what happens. If I can't (and have failed miserably in the past), I will grab the next male student who walks by and beg him to.

Got a call this morning from AGT the group that handles the durable medical equipment for cigna (at least in our area). They have my electric wheelchair in thier office and the guy who will deliver it should call today to set up appt for delivery this week. We were really afraid it would not get done by end of year which would mean goodbye to deductile being met and change of insurance. The only thing insurance will not pay for is a cup holder which agt said they were going to ask for and if they did not pay i would owe about 20.00. I said go ahead. $20 for an electric chair is great in my book.

Also as per tracking the printers i ordered (one for dh and one for my dad to give mom) should be delivered today. Since sometimes it is close to 6 pm when they deliver i am glad it is today as dh has class until 7:30 tonight. Now just to find a place to hide his.

So happy today.

I am so excited for you Ladywithfibro. watch your speed; those things can go fast! They are legal on the streets within the city limits of where I live. That is crazy about the cup holder...glad it worked out.

I am excited. We will have to figure out how to haul it around. We already have a ramp on the house since i have the manual one. But traveling with it will be something to figure out. Waiting to get it to see what it will take. BTW the company said they have been "trying it out to make sure it works" in other words playing with it. It was on the charger as we spoke. just waiting on call to set up time for delivery.

My sil's father who lives a couple houses down has severe lung problems and has a electric chair. he runs it back and forth down the road to his dd's house which is on the other side of our house. I look out my office window a lot and see him racing down the road. My dogs always have to bark at him.

I'm glad all this has worked out for you...and so quickly, too!  That's wonderful.  Your hubby will have to put on his running shoes to keep up with you now!  smilewinkgrin
